the look really good Betty
i would just like to know what happens when the grapes defrost and what they taste like
thank-you
January 11, 2010 6:06 pm | #1Thanks! When the grapes defrost, they taste like sugary grapes. There is no change in the grape flavor or consistency. The sugar continues to stick because of the little bit of egg white on the grapes. I keep mine in the refrigerator, and they are great to munch on–just like regular grapes, only sugar-coated! Thanks for your question!–Betty
January 11, 2010 6:26 pm | #2Thanks Betty for showing the grapes right away, I appreciate that! This seems easy enough. I thought they looked more impressive in a cluster and served on plate with a thick steak, but this video shows how to do it very well:) I will try this! Again Thanks:)
January 11, 2010 6:37 pm | #3You’re very welcome! The most important thing to remember is to use paper towels to get most of the egg white off the grape, still leaving them sticky, so that the sugar will stick. If you have too much egg white on the grapes, it takes them a long time to dry! Good luck! And thanks for viewing! I agree about the cluster–this is just another option!–Betty
