I have not yet purchased the Breville JE900 but my concern is its powerful 600 watt motor, I understand that it can be a good thing for getting the most out of your juicing experience however I read this on about.com “A motor rating of 450 watts or greater is recommended. The heat from a more powerful motor will destroy the produce with oxidation. A less powerful unit will strain the motor and your juicer will eventually break down.” If anyone knows more about this please respond.

This is an amazing juicer. This baby works like a charm. I have never owned a juicer before, so I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I am incredibly pleased. There is very little waste in the pulp that it spits out. This machine flawlessly and efficiently extracts the juice from all sorts of fruits and vegetables. I have also found that it is an excellent juicer for beef and pork products. I highly recommend juicing ground beef, oregano, tomato and basil together. It tastes exactly like a meatball!! Imagin–capturing the flavor of a meatball in a beverage!! Heaven!!
Another new fave of mine is the BLT juice beverage. One piece of advice: cook the bacon prior to juicing as the cooking will eliminate most of the fat in the bacon.

The machine makes good juice, but this is the third time I cannot make the top release, and I’ve used this gift only five times total! Take off the upper ‘feeder’ portion, and try to release, turning to the right as the instructions direct, but it won’t come off.

This juicer has a powerful motor that generates hi RPMs which in turn heat and destroy the nutritional content of your juice.
