Does Anyone Have The Stainless Steel Jack Lalanne Juicer? If So Can You Tell Me What I’m Doing Wrong?

I just got this for my birthday and it takes FOREVER to produce very little juice. I keep cleaning it and making sure its not clogged. I can juice blueberries pretty quickly but everything else pretty much doesn’t juice. I’ve tried apples, beets, carrots, kale. Any tips?

Read the instructions again. Is everything properly placed and all packaging removed? The motor may be stalling and not producing enough power to turn the mechanism fast enough to pulverize larger, more dense foods. The leafy greens are hardest. If you really can’t get it to work, contact the manufacturer, explain your problem. They will ususally send another one just to keep the customer happy. Mine works very well. It juices everything I put down the chute. I get more juice than with others I have used. In about a minute I can have a great glass of mixed veggie and fruit juice for two.

My boss loaned me her Jack LaLanne juicer. I haven’t’ had any problems with it besides the fact that its such a pain to clean. If its put together properly then it should be juicing all those items you mentioned. I put one apple in and got out about a half cup of juice. Just feed it through the hole and make sure the spout is pointed down into the glass. Do you have a manual?
