   Thanks for doing this one. The Lalane will make you angry. I borrowed a stainless one for a while. After you juice carrots in fit or a while it will not even juice the carrots anymore. It just smokes them which as you no is no good. I have a Kenmore Juicer that works better. I do have a Omega 1000 also not a big mouth. I picked it up about a year ago at a auction brand new in the box for $10. I have not figured out how to clean the screen efficiently or I would use it more

   One important thing to note is inside the bowel, the Omega has a bevelled edge, which makes cleanup very easy. The Jack LaLanne juicer has 90 degree corners, making it really hard to clean, and easier for gunk to build up there.

   This is the Omega Big Mouth Juicer model BMJ330. It is different than the Omega Vert Juicer Model VRT330

   Yes, I do juice fresh ginger sometimes. These centrifugal ejection style will juice ginger.
